Swimming

Located at the Merrill Area Recreation Complex (MARC), the Bierman Family Aquatic Center opened in June 2016. This facility features a 7,400-square-foot outdoor pool area, 2,300-square-foot changing facility (with ticketing, men's/women's changing rooms/restrooms, showers, two family changing rooms), along with equipment/mechanical/concession building. There is a double slide into water-filled runouts, a rock climbing wall, two diving boards, six-lane competitive lap swim area, splash pad with playground and dumping overhead buckets.

Council Grounds features a nice beach swimming area, among other amenities. Seasonal or day park passes are requires.
